FLOP testnet
FLOP’s public testnet opens soon
FLOP is a proof-of-inference network on Substrate. Its testnet is open to anyone who wants to run a miner, a validator or an agent. Test tokens have no value, and there is nothing to stake.
Getting started
Join the FLOP testnet
Use only FLOP’s official instructions and links.
- 1Choose a role: a miner runs inference on a GPU, a validator runs a node, an agent buys inference
- 2Read that role’s manual in FLOP’s documentation
- 3Check that your hardware meets FLOP’s requirements for the role
- 4Follow FLOP’s own channels for when the testnet opens
Never share a seed phrase or private key.
FLOP FAQ
FLOP is a proof-of-inference network built on Substrate. GPU miners run AI inference for agents and prove the work, and validators build the network’s blocks from those proofs.
Soon. FLOP’s documentation calls its opening date a working target, so check FLOP’s own channels for when it opens.
Anyone. FLOP describes its public testnet as open to miners, validators and agents, without a whitelist or a fee.
No. FLOP’s list of official links says there is no FLOP token yet and nothing to buy, and testnet tokens have no value. Be wary of anyone offering to sell FLOP.
In FLOP’s documentation at docs.flop.network, which has a manual for each role. Reports and feedback go to FLOP’s public GitHub repository, flop-labs/network.
